On windows system, chkdsk utility verifies and repairs the integrity of the file system on any chosen volume. Chkdsk runs during startup to check for the errors. Other 3rd party tools can’t check file-system integrity; they perform overall disk check and repair respective errors. So there are no perfect alternatives for chkdsk.
